Tried my hand at pesto for the first time this week! I personally think it was a fantastic first effort, however other crowds were a little harder to please. I believe chris told me I should model my recipe more out of the canned/jarred pesto....
The final product was not my favorite. Chris seemed to like them well enough, but they were not as fluffy as I would have liked. Flavor: Good. Frosting: Failure. Pictured is the cupcake with canned frosting - which i decided I really don't like....
