Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

We (and by we I mean I) decided to do our christmas card via blog, seeing as we have not even finished our thank-you cards from the wedding.  It’s been an incredible year and a joy to look back on.  We feel so blessed to have shared some of these moments with friends and family.

December of last year Christopher proposed and Noelle said yes. The two were able to celebrate with friends and family near and far as they made calls and visits, set dates and made plans.

The ring and bottle of wine Chris proposed with.

In May, Noelle finished school and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Business from Wartburg.

In June, Chris accepted a job at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Rochester, MN.  Noelle found a job at Kitchen Collection and the search for an apartment began.

Chris and Noelle made quite an unforgettable entrance into Rochester, mn. after their car broke down, but felt grateful to have such wonderful new friends supporting and helping them.

August came and went too quickly with last minute wedding details, bachelor and bachelorette parties, wedding and honeymoon (in New Orleans.)  To hear of New Orleans adventures read our other blog updates here.  More wedding photos are on the way!

Noelle finished her Kindermusik training and became certified in October. Chris also forced Noelle to attended a USMNT game in Kansas City with him (which of course she ended up loving)

In November Chris and Noelle celebrated Thanksgiving in Cedar Falls AND hosted Chris’ family in Minnesota on Thanksgiving day!  It was quite a delicious adventure to make Thanksgiving dinner together for the first time.  Nothing was burned and nobody got ill.

This December Chris and Noelle picked out the perfect Christmas tree for their apartment.  It’s been a busy holiday (retail for Noelle and church for Chris)

We are so thankful to the people who were a part of our lives this year.  We hope you know the impact you’ve had on our lives and pray you have a blessed and joyful Christmas season and a wonderful beginning to the new year!
